Smile 2 is an upcoming horror movie that expands on the concept presented in the original 2022 film: a sinister entity moves from one host to another through the harrowing experience of witnessing a person commit suicide. This time, however, the narrative centers around Skye Riley, a singer reminiscent of Taylor Swift, who becomes the next vessel for the Smile creature, with its influence over her mind exacerbating her pre-existing psychological issues. The film has its strong points as well as some notable flaws. Yet, there’s a significant aspect we need to discuss, which I’ll reveal at the end with a spoiler warning.
